Hello Class,

My name is Monique Brown, my career in the Higher Education industry began over 19 years ago as a Student Support Specialist for an online institution. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with several individuals and departments to promote and support student success.


I have been an instructor of a college introduction course for high school students for the past year. During this time, I have also offered instruction to beginner undergrad students offering instruction on being a successful first year student at the college level.

Being younger than most of my peers, I attended a business focused institution receiving an associate's degree in business administration before turning 18 years old. In 2018, I received a bachelor's degree in business administration. Going straight in to focus of a MBA program, this degree was received in the beginning of 2021. Having an interest in technology and the innovation it offers, I received a 2nd master's degree in information technology and instructional design mid-year 2023. Currently, I am working on my doctoral degree in higher educational leadership.
