Working with you has been so much fun! I remember entering our first meeting over Zoom to discuss my research proposal feeling scared that you might be the feared stereotype of a scary, menacing professor, but by remarking that we both had similar hairstyles-- middle-parted hair, barely collar-length-- you really put me at ease.

Looking back now, I can't imagine doing my research project under any other Expert-Mentor. I'm grateful to you for so much more than your advice and feedback; thank you for your kindness and unending belief in me. You've helped me to become a more confident person, like in my authorial articulation, where you taught me to not tone down the results of my research in my paper.

My HSSRP journey would undoubtedly have been tiring but rewarding. However, having you as an Expert-Mentor also made it fascinatingly enriching, and amazingly fun. Which is a lot of adjectives that I would probably cut down on if this were my final paper-- but my final paper is done and dusted, and it's all thanks to your unending support and care.
