I remember I read it over and over again because I was so proud of myself for reading it without any help. I also brought this book to my kindergarten class for show-and-tell multiple times. This book introduced me to the concept of accepting yourself because the girl in the book is embarrassed by her long name. My family has been fortunate enough to go all over the world to places such as Italy, Switzerland, France, England, Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica, and many more. Experiencing these different cultures and learning tidbits of the languages expanded my horizons immensely. Usually the parents ask me to read a few stories to the kids before bed which they thoroughly enjoy. After a few years of babysitting the same kids, they have started to read books to me before they go to bed. I have a list of books on my phone that have been recommended to me but I haven't found the time to sit down and read a good book recently. What I do read, though, is these quotes that my grandma sends me on a daily basis. Sometimes they are fun like the one below, and sometimes they are more serious reminders to focus and do the best I can.
