         <description><![CDATA[<div>Point: The Cartoonist is pessimistic about freedom of speech because citizens aren’t able to voice out their opinions without the government being ignorant about it.<br><br>Evidence: This is depicted in the source which shows a sign labeled as the Speakers corner which is empty and looks abandoned. Furthermore, a dog is shown sleeping, which represents the ignorance of the government which is ironic considering that the poster’s point is about Singapore allowing free speech.<br><br>Explanation: Thus this shows that the government does not listen to the opinion of the citizens despite allowing freedom of speech as the irony described in the photo shows that the government doesn’t actually listen to our complaints which leaves the speakers corner barren.</div>]]></description>
