I think that this essay was one of my best. I really like how I was able to pull things out that meant more than they actually seemed and relate them back to my points. Also, I think this essay shows the most improvement in reducing summarization. I am the most proud of this essay because I think that it really shows my writing at its best.

This essay was also one of my best. I am really proud of how I was able to relate the novel to the time it was set in and show the point the author was trying to get across at the time. Also, I liked how I emphasized how the book was showing the racial injustice issues.

I personally think that this is my worst essay. I included way too much summarization. The balance between my own ideas and summarization was way off. However, I used this essay as a learning experience and made sure to use my own ideas in future essays.

This essay helped me to become a lot more comfortable using literary analysis lenses. At first, I wasn't very confident in using them because I had never seen them or heard of them in my whole school career. I think that this essay was also one of my best because I am happy with how I was able to look inside the characters' lives and pull out why they were acting a certain way and saying these certain things.
