He got arrested and is now in jail. He needs to do a trial and his lawyer is Kathy O’Brien, but she doesn’t believe his innocence. If he loses, he may get the death penalty, but If O’Brien convinces the jury that Steve is innocent, he will go to jail and not die. Steve is scared and nervous about his situation and makes a movie script of this experience, because when he writes it down, it helps him calm down. Some witnesses gets interviewed and tells the jury about the situation and what they know, but the lawyers don’t know if they are lying to get out of jail. Steve Is slowly losing hope and feels weak in prison. He wanted to be a good person, but in his situation he feels the opposite. O’Brien tells him to not give up or they will give up on him. A black juror smiled at Steve, but when he smiled at her, she immediately walked away and made him feel horrible.
