It is well known that more and more local students choose to go abroad and the craze for studying abroad has also become one of the most popular topics around the world. Australia has become one of the most popular destinations for international students. There are international students from all over the world in SUT. We believe that social network is the most important thing that affects many international students, so we decided to make and edit a survey about international students and creating social networks.
Through our investigation, we would like to know some basic information about international students, like gender, age, nationality and so on. Therefore, we will tell the students a great deal of questions about their social networks in local area.
Our goal is clear. First aim is understand how international students create social network. As we all know that different countries have different social media. Then what challenges did they face when they created social network and how they found different social networks and why they chose this network. Everyone has a different personality so they would like to create relatively comfortable social networks. Finally,we think most international students use the social media to create their social network and meet new people in SUT.

First of all, we found that a majority of the international students in EAP4 at Swinburne University are outgoing and they would like to make new friends who come from different counties. Besides, we found that there are a few people are introverted. As we know, as an international students, they have their own the unique languages of countries. But in the Campus, they just only communicate in English, it might has caused some difficulties in the communication between their classmates. Secondly, in order to improve and experience better college life , building your own social network is necessary. SUT offers a variety of opportunities. like some various clubs, some collective indoor and outdoor activities ,everyone can participate with it. Finally, creating a good social network has benefit to student's deep learning and their future development. On the road of future life, your classmates, friends and colleagues, they are an integral part of your life. You can help and progress each other, and your spirit is less lonely.
In short, as an International students, we need to learn how to create our social networks and then enjoy our colorful college life.

Thanks to our survey and pad let we are looking at the international students and creating social network. This is a very interesting topic. Because people are social animals and they needs some friends and have to create their own social network. Everyone has different personalities. Especially, some shy people, it's difficult to make some friends and they don't know how to build their own social networks in daily life. Thus, we have some useful recommendations for international students in regard to create their own social networks.
Firstly, you actively communicated with your classmates in classroom. When you do some homework, you will work with others as a group instead of completing it by yourself. Must dare to try. It is easy to gather in class as long as you find some topics and you could find some common interests and hobbies. Such as you like to play computer games, you could talk about games and some computer configuration etc. Or if you like music, you can share it with others and you can add some musical groups.
Secondly, open yourself! and let others know about yourself, and have the opportunity to make friends. Through this kind of initiative, you will find people who have this kind of demand and can understand. For this kind of initiative does not let you have more organizational ability, it just makes you have a desire to achieve the effect of some responses, this is not difficult.
Finally, the importance of listening.
