Vampire (for 4th-5th)

One person is secretly chosen to be the vampire. Everyone walks around shaking each other's hands. The vampire gently scratches people's wrists, and they die as dramatically as they want within the next 30 seconds (or after shaking one more hand). Everyone tries to guess who the vampire is.

Murder

Just like Vampire (above) only everyone sits in the circle, and the 'murderer' winks at folks to 'kill' them.

Electricity: for classes who aren't afraid of cooties.

The class sits (or stands) in two lines, holding hands. Everyone shuts their eyes except for the head of each line. There is an object between the last two people in line. The teacher rolls a dice where the heads of lines can see it. The first time they roll a six, the leaders squeeze the hand of the next person, who squeezes the next, until the end of the line gets a hand squeeze. This is their signal to quickly grab the object. Everyone can shuffle down a spot between rounds. To avoid cheating--if you make any sounds, you're out.

Prep (sorry) a list of review questions.

Students are divided into teams of four (or so).

Give each team a stack of scratch paper.

You ask the question, they write their answer on the paper, you circle the room and pick up the wrong answers.

Teams with the right answer send a representative up to crumple that paper up and toss it at the wastebasket. If they make it, they get a point.

After all teams with the right answer have shot, you get a chance with as many wrong answer papers as there were. So teams are playing against each other, but they're also playing to NOT lose to the teacher as a group.
