Thermal energy relates to and works with different kinds of temperatures, (mostly heat). Atoms are particles which can be found in the substance. Atoms never stop moving so, the more the atoms move around and vibrate, the hotter the substance is. This also means that if this substance is hotter means there is more thermal energy, such as in fire or when cooking.

Sound energy is energy created by vibration. Similar to electrical energy traveling along a circuit, sound energy travels along soundwaves. These waves travel through all states of matter like solid, liquid, and gas. The energy is made when an object vibrates (or has force and pressure). These movements make sounds, which are created by this energy. There are numerous examples of sound energy being heard, from a popping balloon to a buzzing bee.

Energy is the ability to do work. according to the law of conservation of energy, energy cannot be created not destroyed, but can take a new form. energy transformation is when energy has the ability to be wone type of energy to another. although there is also transfer energy, which is energy that can move to one location to another, this doesn't apply to this since it stays the same energy. therefore, energy can change.

A: Energy flows through a system starting with the sun's radiant energy, which is captured by plants and solar panels. The plant uses it to produce glucose, creating chemical energy, and the solar panels convert it to electricity. In this example from a PhET Lab, the girl is using her chemical energy, which came either directly or indirectly from plants(she either ate a plant or an animal that ate a plant), to pedal a bike, producing mechanical energy, and as waste energy, thermal energy. The bike wheels are connected to a generator, which takes the mechanical energy from the spinning wheels and converts it to electrical energy, which then powers a lightbulb, producing radiant energy.
