         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong><em>Tensile strength (resistance to streching)<br></em></strong>Good in the longitudinal direction and poor in the transverse direction.<br><strong><em>Compressive strength<br>(resistance to being crushed)<br></em></strong>It is better in the transverse direction than in the longitudinal direction. <br><strong><em>Flexural strength<br>(resistance to being bending).</em></strong><strong><br></strong>It is good but better in the transverse direction (e.g. posts and beams)(structures )<br><strong><em>Hardness<br></em></strong>This can vary a lot.<br>E.g.Wood is not very hard and this makes it easier a lot <br>(furniture, houses, boats ,etc.)<br><strong><em>Toughness<br></em></strong>It is used in sports equipment.(E.g. hockey sticks, baseball bats,etc)<br><strong><em>Thermal and electrical conductivity<br></em></strong>It is very low.<br><strong><em>Sound conductivity<br></em></strong>Good. It is used for musical instruments, e.g. guitars.<br><strong><em>Colour</em></strong><br>Different colours. (E.g. red, yellow, brown, etc.)<br><strong><em>Density<br></em></strong>Wood is a light material. (E.g. build ships)<br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>COPPER: It is a very good conductor of heat and electricity, it haghly resists to corrosion and it is very ductile and malleable( and easy solder).<br>TIN: It is very ductile and malleable when cold, easy to work with and melting it ( used for soft soldering). <br>ALUMINIUM: It is a very light material, it is resistance to corrosion, and good conductor of heat and electricity. It is non-toxic, ( used for food packing) .It is a very ductile y malleable .It is  easy to shape.<br>ZINC:It is malleable and ductile .It is a good conductor of heat and electricity .It is a highly resistant to corosion and rust.</div>]]></description>
