         <description><![CDATA[<p>Back on My Feet recruits individuals at homeless or addiction and treatment facilities around the country. These individuals – known as members – commit to run three early mornings a week. Goals are set and achieved with one mile becoming two, two becoming three and so on, and after 30 days with 90%, their first milestone.</p><p><br/></p><p>In the next phase, members work with Back on My Feet program staff to develop a personal road map to independence. Each member attends financial literacy classes and job skills training provided through partnerships with our corporate partners. Members can earn <strong>financial aid</strong> to remove barriers to employment and housing such as work supplies, transportation and security deposits.          <description><![CDATA[<p><strong><br>Men’s Emergency Shelter</strong></p><ul><li><p><mark>To receive a bed, please arrive between the hours of 8 AM to 4 PM on Monday thru Friday- to meet with an Intake Speacialist.</mark></p></li><li><p>Your bag will be checked, and you will receive a meal and a shower before bed.</p></li><li><p>Philly House is located at <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://goo.gl/maps/eWuHFvWGnMg2Zdxh7">302 N. 13th Street</a> in Philadelphia, just north of Vine Street. The closest public transportation is the Race/Vine stop of the Broad Street Line.</p></li><li><p>When you arrive, please use the entrance off <mark>Pearl Street.</mark></p></li><li><p><mark>For 'after-hours' or on weekends, contact the Mike Hinson Resource Center at (267) - 737-9099 for information and/or resources.  </mark></p></li></ul><p><em><br>If you know somebody who needs a meal and a place to stay, please offer them this information to help them find their way to our shelter in Center City.<mark> </mark></em><mark>During extreme temperatures, overflow sleeping cots are used to ensure that no one will be turned away.          <title>The Next Level Program (Philly House) </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The Next Level Program is a twelve-month transitional housing program available to emergency shelter guests that are seeking stability, spiritual development, and long-term success.</p><p><br></p><p> The goal of the program is to equip homeless men with the practical and spiritual life skills they need to be self-sufficient individuals and positive contributors to society.</p><p><br></p><p>Men in the Next Level Program have the potential to maintain up to a one-year residency in semi-private living quarters on the Mission’s fourth floor. </p><p><br></p><p>To enter the Next Level Program residents, have verified full-time employment or have income from other sources. Each resident is expected to pay a program fee of 40% of their monthly income. Philly House sets up a savings escrow account for each resident by depositing 20% of the program fee while living the program. When a man leaves the program, he receives these funds. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> The Next Level Program is individualized to meet the unique needs of each participant. Case management, participating in a church community and volunteering to serve in their community are some of central components to the program.</p><p>THE NEXT LEVEL PROGRAM HELPS MEN BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH GOD AND WITH EACH OTHER.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></description>
