Rancho performed very well, always at the top. The other two roommates Farman and Raju did not have such good brains. Although they studied very hard, they were always bottom students.

Farhan thought about photography everyday and raju was timid. He always asked God for blessing. Beside the outstanding achievement, rancho was also a person who liked to teach others,  whenever their lives were misguided. He  could always appear and give directions properly.

Because of this kind of high strength "ability", he sinned against the director of the school. The host would only rote teach his students, but also got his love.
On the eve of graduation, the director sent the symbol of the honor of "space" to rancho, and told rancho that he was a gifted student.

Near the end of graduation, farhan got job offers, from a Hungarian photographer. Raju obtained the company hired, while rancho silently left the school without anyone known where he went.
Ten years later, the boy who was teased by rancho invited raju and farhan to look for rancho because they had a bet about who was going to live a better life and he thought he had lived a good life. They finally found rancho in a large school and knew about rancho’s real identity.

The main character, rancho, is a creative boy with various “ strange” ideas  that are different from others including his schoolmaster. He is always willing to try new ideas and offer others guidance when they are confused about their life. The whole story is about his experience and in the end, his classmates find his unbelievable true identity. 

The movie reflects some true phenomena of education in India. For example, the plot shows a student who came up with a good idea about his graduate works but the schoolmaster only wanted the student to give his works in a short time and when the student argued with the schoolmaster, he was dismissed by the schoolmaster. Such things illustrate the fact that education only pays attention to the result of exams but not creativity. On the other hand, learning at school was paid too much attention. When the student was dismissed by the schoolmaster, he could not bare the stress and finally chose to kill himself. 

The movie not only lead to thought about education, but also encourages people to live a different lifestyle. I highly recommend this movie to all people.
