         <title>Inflexible scheduling that does not allow for early intervention - Example - F/D Algebra.  Don&#39;t wait all year to address it.  Try 4 week progress checks. Student struggling at 4 weeks can be pulled into a new section of the same class (create a new Alg section using extra prep FTE for staffing) make those classes 20 max with additional IA support and provide those teacher extra PD on student engagement and intervention.</title>

Most district and school interventions available are &quot;passive&quot; and require the students/parents to take the lead on getting the help rather than us taking the initiative to get it to them.  Example - left message for parent that student needs to attend more instead of made home visit and will be meeting with student weekly until truancy improves</title>
