In the late 1800s a candy maker in Indiana decided to express the meaning of Christmas through a candy-shaped stick.The colors of the candy cane have a specific meaning:- White: symbol of the purity of Jesus;- Three red stripes: the suffering of Jesus on the cross.The stick form is reminiscent of the shepherd who is compared to the figure of Jesus and, if it overturns, it becomes the letter "J" for Jesus.
