         <description><![CDATA[<p>This is one of the most heart-wrenching pictures from the attack. The USS Arizona was struck by a bomb and exploded, and was the only ship to sink. More than 1000 soldiers sadly passed.  </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The bombs pictured are Japanese bombs from torpedo planes. These bombs were dropped in the water and could strike ships. This was new technology and was extremely unstable and dangerous.</p>]]></description>

         <title>USS Oklahoma Capsizing - 8:30 AM December 7th</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The USS Oklahoma was struck by numerous torpedoes and started flipping over. Some soldiers were stuck inside,  but efforts were made to cut holes in the bottom of the ship to save soldiers, but sadly, you cannot save them all. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>This here is an anti-aircraft gun that American sailors and soldiers used to fight back. It is noted that even some of the brave soldiers weren't even fully dressed but still ran into the line of fire to shoot down the aircraft. Thats a real hero. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>People call this phenomenon the 'black tears of the Arizona.' Even to this day oil leaks from the USS Arizona, which is more than 80 years later. A common theory is that the oil will keep leaking until the last Pearl Harbor survivor passes away. </p>]]></description>
