I think I would have to agree with their decision. This is the myth that says racism will die off with the older generation. I think this is important to consider because many younger people act like its just old people and boomers that are the racist ones and ignore the fact that racism is still something we need to work on. It was pretty disgusting to hear some of the things in the videos and podcast. It is pretty repulsive for people to say they need to kill and wipe out all Native Americans. It is also very disappointing to hear that there are still some operating in the U.S., and we don’t know what kind of damage is being done or has been done there, even if some of these schools are being run by tribes. Learning about kidnapping and forced assimilation to white culture is something that shouldn’t happen.
