Perhaps these ICT tools are also more visually appealing to the students who have a shorter attention span nowadays.

ICT tools also help to consolidate learning points which proves to be much easier than a manual consolidation by the teacher/students. The ease provided by the different features of the websites and apps allows for better time allocation during the lesson for other areas.

But with platforms such as Google Drive and Google slides, collaborative learning can be done at the drop of a hat during class as well as after class hours.

Differentiated Learning - nowadays students are born in the native ict age and they no longer have to be stifled by the banking education of the teachers constantly giving them information and instead they are able to move around while learning and utilise apps that help them learn better according to their own learning styles (visual, kinaesthetic)
