After world war II has ended in May 1945, the victorious allies powers divided Germany in 4 occupation zones. However, in June 14, 1948 the soviets blocked all roads rails and water connections. Allies declared that they would not give that part of the city food or electricity. Berliners only had coal and food that lasted them in total of 81 days. In June 26, 1948 aircrafts carried food and supplies. There was 1,500 tons o food and 3,500 of coal landing every day. In the end, this helped people form staving or freezing to death. I learned that planes would weigh 100 pounds more just from all the dust.

The Berlin Wall was built in 1961. Made by the East German government. The wall was used to get let in East Germans. The border guards would shoot anyone who tries to pass. This makes me think that now this wall is now used as a bitter symbol of division. I learned that more than 100 people died trying to cross the Berlin Wall.

In 1951 Korea and America had tension between them. Dwight Eisenhower said that if he wins the November 1951 election he would go to Korea. After Eisenhower won the election both sides, Korea and America were ready to fight. I had to research if Eisenhower kept his promised since he won. In HISTORY, I researched that Dwight Eisenhower kept his promised. He went in South Korea in December 2–5, 1952. Later, he also went to June 18–19, 1960 and June 18–20, 1960.

The GI Bill Rights helped lots of war veterans. He helped them with farms and business. The GI helped them with collages and have a new home. They gave jobs to veterans who could not work. I was curious what else did The GI Bill Rights helped and how many veterans did GI Bill rights helped? So I research in HISTORY. I learned that people that wanted to continue their education in college or vocation school could do so tuition-free up to $500 while also receiving a cost of living stipend. I also learned that By 1956, almost 10 million veterans had received GI Bill benefits.

Segregation is when color people and whites are separated because the color of their skin. For example, colored people had to go to school 1 mile away from their home while white people had to walk 7 block away. This shows white people had higher privileged. After a while, the supreme court there was no racial segregation. It took a while for the desegregation to stop. This was a change for America. I researched how long did it take for Segregation in schools to come to a end? I learned that it took 3 years.

It took a long time until the newspapers reported his first speech. I was wondering what he liked to do as a child. I wondered because he seemed like he believed his dream. They were cheerful because happy to be a part in solving the racism throughout the nation. They were protesting about racism. In total there were 2,000 children arrested. I wanted to know why did the children protested instead of the parents. I now know that if the parents were to protest, they would lose their ob and get their cars burnt down. Adults were a much bigger target than children. The jails were dirty and crowded. There was not a lot of food. Some were kept in jail for seven days!

I'm wondering how will our country be if they choose Nixion?
