My strengths are: finding values, simplifying expressions, expanding brackets, etc. I feel I am successful in these areas because I am able to understand something very quickly and that gives me an ability to understand it further in following lessons.

My grade this term is Mastery. I am happy with this as I have gotten maximum grades and cannot improve on the grade. 
My ATL this term was a 2. Next term I plan to shout out less in order to improve my learning and the learning of others.
My at home learning has been active. I have competed in a single cross-country race but sadly my team had a non-compete as a member called in sick.
Next term, in January, I hope to be able to compete in the singles race (which is 5 kilometers) and win!

June: I have competed in the 5k race and have gotten top ten! This is an excellent achievement as I outperformed my GWIS counterpart in year 8.

The first of them being gymnastics. I do 13 hours of gymnastics a week and have been doing it for almost 9 years. I have competed in 8 competitions and won 6 of them. In the other two (my first and second) I came second both times. I have collected 46 medals and 8 trophies from gymnastics and some more from boxing.

In term 1.1, we identified different sources and how historians use them to infer what happened in events from the past. Eg: oral sources, physical sources, visual sources, etc. Furthermore, we used these skills to predict mysteries such as the Tollund man. In term 1.2, we have learnt about ancient civil actions such as the Mayans and Pompeii (the Romans).A topic that I was very interested in was that of Pompeii due to the fact that everything was perfectly preserved in a way that a  machine could never do.

I believe, that I have made lots of progress this term as I have learnt many, many skills to do with history and uncovering facts. Such as: the first democracy was Athens’ democracy 8000 years ago.

I feel extremely confident with geography this year and I believe that next term I can get an M.

My current grade is an S+ which I believe I can improve on if I become even more thorough by taking evidence from multiple sources.

I am doing well in map symbols as I find them simple enough to understand. As well as this, I am doing well in coordinates as it is linked to math and I understand math well. My target grade is S+ and my grade is S. I am somewhat disappointed with this grade as I believe I can do better in this subject. Academically, I believe my target would be map skills as a whole (excluding coordinates). This includes subjects such as: respiration, the lungs, particularly diagrams about ‘solids, liquids and gasses’ and changes of state.

This year I wanted to learn more about biology and the body and luckily I did. I even got to see sheep’s lungs.
