The boys were hunting in the woods after a drug filled party, and when Grants body was found dead, when the police came the boys had told them about the hunting trip, and said soon they came upon the body, saying it was an accident. Grant was found distorted, shoes missing, dressed in camo with a bullet hole in his chest.

One of the boys shot and killed grant. All of the boys felt great grief and remorse for his death. Despite their remorse there are marks on both grant and the other boys that don’t indicate an accidental shooting. According to the boys they were hunting alone and grant was shot with a Remington rifle.
