Hi Everyone! My name is Jen Welch and I am currently in my third semester working towards a M. Ed. in Higher Education Administration. I received my undergraduate degree in Government from Berry College, but fell in love with the community service field as a student there involved in the Bonner Scholar's Program. I have been working in the service field ever since serving two years as an AmeriCorps NCCC Member and coming up on five years in my current position as the AmeriCorps Program Coordinator at Clayton State University (located just south of Atlanta) where I am able to help students find their passion through community service. Once I finish this degree, I hope to continue in my career path to ultimately become a director of a Civic Engagement or Volunteer Center at a university. My number one hobby actually aligns with my career – I love community service, especially construction projects! I also enjoy soccer, reading, and bonfires with friends!
