         <description><![CDATA[<div>We all agreed that fine motor skills come later, and its difficult to associate an image and action with sound. In other words, its easier to hear things and comprehend them than to actually "spit it out". Also, the slang that we use outside of English class (family, friends, etc) could influence how we comprehend.  Example: holding a pencil and maneuvering it is a finer a motor skill and it takes time to perfect.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>We agreed that if the milestones are met at the "normal" age, then it would be much easier for them to learn and comprehend with the other kids their age when they get to grade school. Two members of our group were able to relate and say that delays in reading caused them to spend several years catching up to their peers.</div>]]></description>
