You never know what’s around the corner

So be prepared for the invader

Coronavirus is its name

It has invaded our land

From the tip of Lands end

To the top of Bonnie Scotland

It has taken us by surprise

So all the more, let us be wise.

And don’t allow the enemy

To win the victory

So many heroes are risking their lives

To keep our dear England alive

Thank God for our NHS

The doctors, nurses, carers

Blood donors and so many others

So much ingenuity

From comedians and musicians alike

Help us keep our spirit up

While we are on strike

Let’s be brave a little longer

My dear friends, brothers and sisters

Keep indoors until we are told

The time is right

To go on the road

And sing with all your might

Very high and loud

Goodbye Coronavirus

Never ever come back to us

Through you we have become much stronger

For having fought hand in hand so bravely

During this long and painful adversity

If you have mild symptoms of coronavirus, you should stay at home.

To help yourself stay well:

drink plenty of water to stay hydrated – drink enough so your pee is pale and clear

take paracetamol to help ease your symptoms

stay in touch with family and friends over the phone or on social media, to help you avoid feeling low or lonely

try to keep yourself busy – you could try activities like cooking, reading, online learning and watching films

do light exercise, if you feel well enough to
