Fluids move by the motion of which container is in or weather, for instance if the weather is breezy the water will tend move more. Hotter energy will search for cooler place so when you (cooler energy) touch something hot (hotter energy) the hotter energy thinks your hand is cooler so this will lead it to come on your hand to slow down and cool down, so when you get heat on your hand, it will send a signal to your brain to tell you to move your hand away, after you have moved your hand away the hotter energy stays where it was. But when you touched hotter energy, the item that contains the hotter energy cooled down because molecules of hotter energy moved off the item.

All fluids are constantly moving because the energy moves from warmer atoms which is transferring into the cooler atoms which is what makes the ice melt. This is why when you put an ice cube in your hand, the high kinetic energy molecules are mixing with the low kinetic energy molecules

The movement of the fluids and the energy is the heat that is going to the ice cube and when the ice cube is in the person's fist it's getting all of the heat that the person had. That's when the ice cube starts melting. Also the type of energy that the atoms and molecules move constantly is called kinetic energy.
