1.How do you personally know something is true?
To pursue the truth, if I want to know if something is true or not, I usually ask others who are witnesses or people who might know the truth who have nothing to do with me and the person who is either telling the truth or not. I try to ask at least three people because one's perception based truth can be different from person to person.

2. What types of truth exist? What are the implications of multiple and varied truths? 
The varied types of truths are my truth, your truth, the half truth, perception based truth, and 
the factual truth(full truth).

3. What is the relationship between storytelling and the truth?
Storytelling is someone’s perspective on a sequence of events that are possibly altered to the storyteller's benefit or how they want others to perceive the story.

-my friend and I in first grade broke a computer but were too scared to tell the teacher that we did it. We later learned that it was better to tell the truth because the consequences would have been less severe if we had just owned up to it from the beginning.

-Others discover the truth in many different ways such as research either online or from other people. 

What is the relationship between storytelling and the truth? 
-Storytelling means that you are only telling the side of the story that either you or someone else wants to hear. Telling the truth, means that you are telling all parts to the story whether you are another person wants to hear it or not.

Most of the time when a story is untruthful you can tell because they are probably missing parts or some of it just doesn’t add up. When a story is truthful all parts of the story make sense, add up and there are no missing parts to it.

How do you know something is true?

Sometimes you know if something is true based on pre existing knowledge. Sometimes you can just tell if something is not true. Also, If a person is lying and being untruthful you might be able to tell from body language or nervousness in their speaking or just maybe their story doesn’t make sense.
What types of truth exist?

Truths can be varied for the better of the person they are getting told too. Like if somebody might be having a bad hair day, you tell them it looks good even though you might not think that but it helps build that person up and feel better. I think the reason people vary truths is to better the situation and not make something worse.

The relationship between storytelling and truth. 
-Telling the truth is explaining how something panned out or happened. Storytelling tells a story using facts and other tools. Both storytelling and truth communicates with another person by using facts and elucidating how something really happened.

How do you know something is true?
-You never really know when someone is telling the truth. They could just be a good liar. But when I tell the truth I try to be sincere and give facts to back up what I have said. You give the person you are talking to a reason to trust you by giving them an explanation.

Earliest memory about learning of truth.
-When I was younger I stole money from my parents. My parents were going to use the money for a gift for my older cousin. When my parents asked who took it I lied. Because I lied I had a pit in my stomach, I knew that I made the wrong choice. So I told my mom the truth. I explained to my mom why I took it and it made me feel better. I was in trouble, but by telling the truth I gave my mom a reason to trust me in the future.

My earliest memory with truth was at a young age. I was little and was basically being questioned over something I did but didn’t want to admit it. If I admitted I would’ve gone to timeout and I didn’t want that, so I didn’t tell the truth but eventually had to tell them it was me later on.

The difference between storytelling and truth is that they can be the same but also completely different at different times. They could be the same because you could tell a truthful story to people which is technically storytelling. They can be different because you could tell a made up story to people which would also be storytelling but wouldn’t be telling the truth. 

The types of truths that I have encountered are mainly the normal truth or some type of altered truth. The normal truth is when someone tells you the full story, the real story of what happened. This is the best kind of truth because you get the real truth and real story. The altered truth is when someone usually modifies the truth to fit what they wanted to happen, to make themselves either the good guy or bad guy depending on the story. Both are types of truths but one is better than the other.

I agree that storytelling can be biased and is rarely truthful and a lot of time after a war ends normally the guys who won always make themselves look good and the loser bad.
