A short amount of time put stress on the group members, causing them to work sloppily and rush the task. In order to survive in this simulation, we needed to step back and take a minute to look at our surroundings and the supplies we were given. If every group had done that, we would have all noticed that on the sheets with the template for the igloo and the poncho, it directly said that the pictures were not the correct measurements. This can be applied to how we act in the real world.. Sometimes we get too caught up in what other people are doing around us and we don't take time to think for ourselves to make rational decisions.
