         <description><![CDATA[<div>June 20, 1789 was when the Tennis court oath had been made. The first estate had made up the court since they wanted change from the monarchy. It was called the tennis court oath since they had been locked out of there original meeting place. So instead they moved to a near by tennis court and held the rest of there meetings there. What they had taken a oath on was to never disband until they had gotten a written constitution had been established in France.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>On July 14, 1789 the prison fortress in Paris had been raided. Angry mobs of Parisians start breaking in and stealing gun power. The mobs even keep the guards heads on pikes like how they would do with others. The symbolism of them taking it down was the falling of the absolute monarchy. Thus creating modern day Bastille day in Paris celebrating the fall of the Monarchy. </div>]]></description>

This is said because it gave people the confidence to start the revolution and want change.&nbsp;The reason for this march is women wanted more fair prices of bread since they were very high. No it was not only women there was also some men in the protest.</div>]]></description>

They started planning on ways to defeat them first. Thus came the storming of Bastille. All though that was just the beginning of it all. It ended Aug 6, 1789.</div>]]></description>

This was made after the execution of king Louie XVI and after they had taken down the monarchy. The rights were property,liberty, security and resistance to oppression. The freedoms were freedom of speech, religion and equal justice. </div>]]></description>

After being brought back to Paris they were held prisoners till there executions. During there time there all monarchy in France lost there little power they had. Then on January 21, 1793 King Louie XVI was executed. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>On October 16, 1793 Queen Marie Antoinette was executed. She was convicted of treason and false sexual abuse. To make things worse she wasn't even French so people had no remorse for her as she wasn't even from the country. They also did not like her lavish spending while France was crumbling under debt. In fact most French people put there blame on her and called her degrading names and she was a prisoner about to be killed. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Robespierre was the leader of the reign of terror. He and his 21 followers were soon convicted and executed.&nbsp;Not only that he managed to kill off many of his political enemies. But soon following National assembly arrested Robespierre but the warden refused to jail him, so he took refuge at Hotel de Ville where his supporters protected him, but not long after the National Assembly troops arrested him and 21 of his supporters. The next day they were all executed without trial. </div>]]></description>

This code had given civil rights such as annulment, divorce, protection of personality and much more for personal rights. In the 19th century many Latin country's actually adopted this code into there territory's.&nbsp; It officially went into place on march 24, 1804. Originally titled&nbsp;´Code Civil des Français´ but then later changed in 1807 to the Napoleonic code. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Monarchy restored </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The backstory of the monarchy being restored is Napoleon who was defeated in Russia. Then the council of Vienna was created in order for something like the revolution to never happen again.  The monarchy was restored on April 6, 1814 and lasted to Jan 21, 1830. The last official ruling king of France was King Louie XVI. To this day there is no ruling family of France anymore and are now a constitutional  republic, Unitary state, and have a semi presidential system.</div>]]></description>
