the effective teacher should be organized and deliberate in many aspects. students can learn better when the subject/class are in order. they should come prepared to class and plan what to teach/how to teach beforehand.
for example one of my teachers in highschool was teaching the subject in such a complicated way. that's why ı couldn't understand anything even if it was an easy subject.

Considering the learning is the business of the both the teachers and the students, knowledge about the subject becomes very important. But the knowledge that will be facilitated, which means how much of the subject students need to learn, must be planned carefully. Teacher cannot deep dive the details about the subject at the very beginning.

For example; A civil law professor starts teaching about "goodness clause" to first year, first term law students. The subject is highly abstract and hard to understand. Teacher is a professor, who is highly regarded in his field. He mentiones about doctrinate publishes, and expects first grades to understand him.

Be able to adaptable of the changes for student's interests, preferences, attributes are fundamental needs of the teaching and learning process. Flexiblility and adaptibility based on the progressivism. If students are not attracted to the subjects, they will become bored, unwilling and frustrated. They don't want to respond the questions and participate the topics. Therefore, learning will not be successful. Teacher have to aware of the needs their students. To give an example, my geography teacher in high school used to answer questions asked during the day and ensure everyone's participation in the lesson. She would complete the course content by switching from the topics that his students were curious about to the topic of the course.

Teachers are models to their students through their words and actions but this does not mean that the do not use humor. Sometimes humor help students to grasp subjects.

I had a teacher and he was biology teacher. All students loved him because his classes was so funny. He knew how to make lesson fun while teaching. Thanks to him, even students who were not interested in biology lessons were enjoying the lesson.

Also I had a teacher who was art teacher and he was very serious. Although the art class was fun, it became scary for everyone. He was very judgemental.
