How can we sustainably feed the future population sustainably, using this biome?

If people wants to increase the amount of food being produced in the world they have to increase economic opportunities and also give more resources to the farmers. For example if someone harvest a tree in the forest they should plant two trees for harvesting one to keep the forest growing and gives the future generation a suitable amount of produce without restricting our current generation from consuming food. While Looking towards the future it’s important to be sustainable and wise in order to maintain the diverse human resources for centuries to come. In order to sustainably feed the future we need to reduce in food consumption. Reducing food consumption is one of the best way to increase sustainability. Another way to keep this biome sustainably is to prevent people destroying the rainforest. Rainforest are under a-lot of threat because of companies destroying the rainforest to create more land for the over growing population. Reducing environmental impacts of food production is another way we can help the rainforest. This will ensure long term health survival for the rainforest and also reduce destruction.

In what way has food proudction changed this biome,

B) Food production has changed rainforest by people breaking down trees and leaving less oxygen in the world and making the forest look empty when there is no trees in the forest.

We shouldn't be cutting down trees for products that we can’t recycle because it would be a waste of material and were harming the trees, animal and plant life in the rainforest. If this keeps happening and we keep abusing the rainforest it might be extinct in the next 40-50 years. So far 140 rainforest spices are sadly being extinct everyday. Rainforest now covers less than 6% of the earth’s land surfaces. Two main ways food production has changed in the rainforest is people destroying the rainforest and planting oil plantations which is demanded all over the world and has increased over the past couple of years. In 2011 it was the biggest producer for vegetable oil producing 54 million tons. Another way food production has changed in the rainforest is by people clearing the forest so they can put cattles and other animals on the land so they can produce food. A report by the united Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation estimates that 26% of the earth's surface is devoted to the grazing of livestock. Grazing is one of the major parts that contribute to deforestation, but it is also responsible for 18% of the greenhouse gas emissions. Doing these two things are harming the society and we are losing rainforest everyday because of it.

The environment also provides excellent conditions to grow nuts and coffee beans. Also due to the mass amount of rain and humid temperatures there are plenty of waterfalls and large river streams running through the rainforest, allowing water to be available all around the rainforest, meaning animals can thrive and survive without having to travel too far find water and can avoid predators, each animal has their own special waterhole where they can get water from.

Monkeys have secret streams of water in caves where they sneak off too when thirsty. Once a storm or rain has passed often hollow trees will have collected water and small rodents such as rats and chipmunks this is also shared . Larger and more dangerous animals such as jaguars and panthers dominate larger pools of water as they pose a high threat to other animals.

Rainforest thrive with wildlife and provide mass amount of foods we consume today.

A rainforest is typically tropical with large trees that often provide a large range of fruits. Rainforests also persist with heavy rainfall and is very humid all year round. Rainforests are filled packed with greenery and wildlife, from small insects walking across the wet floor, Often large cats can be found lurking around and a quick look up towards the sky quickly can be filled with hundreds of exotic birds. The forest floor is covered in bark and fallen leaves and trees, with small patches of moss and grass growing through, one wrong step can mean your feet end up soaked in a hidden puddle or the sticky mud might swallow your shoe.

Rainforests in general are amazing places that are filled with amazing sights. From the tall trees, to the beautiful canopy filled with branches, and huge leaves, which provide shelter for so many animals. Due to the constant rain and rainfall the temperature is very humid and warm.

We use so many natural properties from rainforest to their produce they provide, soil as its so fertile and perfect for crops, sometimes animals are illegally exported for their skin, eggs, or as an exotic pet. Animals exported can be worth hundreds of thousands, Rainforests provide us so many different products that we consume and use daily. However in recent times, do to our increasing population, logging and clearing of land has become more common and the rate rainforests are being cleared is only increasing to accommodate the vast growing population. Also mining continues to be a problem, as people's greed for minerals and the gain of money
