In the state of North Carolina, voters are trying to decide on an Voter ID Amendment that will force voters to show a photo ID in person to vote at elections. The election results in NC are yes, they will approve that voters should provide a photo ID in order to vote. The other link explains that several other states are approving the use of adopting voter ID laws to discourage voter fraud. In NC, it says that legislators will be responsible for determining the type of photo ID that will be applied and it also says that two years ago Michael Tomsic tried to combat voter fraud. Michael had said, "More than half of all voters there use early voting, and African-Americans do so at higher rates than whites. African-Americans also tend to overwhelmingly vote for Democrats."
1. https://ballotpedia.org/North_Carolina_Voter_ID_Amendment_(2018)

2. https://www.npr.org/2018/11/07/664993438/voters-approve-major-changes-to-redistricting-and-other-voting-laws

Florida's ballot had thirteen constitutional amendments, the most since 1998; twelve were approved:
1. This amendment would've raised the portion of a home's value that could be exempted from non-school property taxes (which local governments rely on). It didn't pass.
2. This amendment makes the 10% cap on annual increased tax value of non-school property taxes permanent. It passed.
9. This amendment bans both offshore oil and natural gas drilling in state-owned waters and vaping in enclosed indoor workplaces. It passed, but a county circuit court ruling that is currently being appealed by the state might retroactively strike it from the ballot due to the conjoined nature of the amendment.
*https://ballotpedia.org/Florida_2018_ballot_measures
*https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/florida-voters-appear-to-restore-voting-rights-for-felons-amid-bevy-of-ballot-measures-nationwide/2018/11/06/03766f04-dfa8-11e8-b3f0-62607289efee_story.html
