         <description><![CDATA[<div>As a school counselor, I believe that my primary purpose is to advocate for all students by creating opportunities for students to achieve high academic standards and career readiness(ASCA National Model, 2019). All students will have equal access to high-quality education and all students can succeed(ASCA National Model, 2019). As a school counselor, I believe that all students should have access to counseling programs.&nbsp; I also believe school counselors should collaborate with family members, students, administrators, teachers, and other educational stakeholders to promote student growth and development(ASCA National Model, 2019). School counselors should help students with social-emotional, personal, and academic goals. A school counselor will help students learn to advocate for themselves.
