A friend should be loving and sincere

Someone who will make your worries disappear.

A friend not only in happiness,

but a friend also in distress.

He will never drag you down,

but help you be better when your down.

He will give you wisdom when your lost,

and will make your life an ocean that gently flows.

Indeed, a true friend you must find,

is a friend from the existence of the Almighty God.

He will never leave your side,

but will make you thrive with all His love.

Love that knows the importance of initiation.

Something that is genuinely given

not forced, reminded, nor begged for.

I crave for love that is rooted from the fact that

It is special because it is simply the person you prayed for yourself once.

Not the love that is inconsistent, because you already have her for whatever it is that you can use her for.

I want the love that would make things matter even if they are little.

Love that would make you feel special, because it is just so genuine that no one could separate you from each other.

This has always been the love that i want for my broken self.

But even if i wait for this love for many years,

I guess love is just not willing to do so.

It has always been you, the one who catches my tears every time they fall.

The comfort i always run to

When there is no one to turn to.

My savior,

who understands the pain of the nights that I go through.

The one who understands the brokenness inside me,

and touches my cheeks so that I could fall asleep when no one wants me to.

the pillow that I can hug,

when I seem to falter and be lost in the darkness of life.

It is you, the only person that loves me and gives peace despite the noises in my mind.

To have a baby girl on the September twenty

They have always wanted to add more to the family,

So they prayed to God to bless them with a girl named Hannie.

No, the name wasn’t really hannie.

It was actually Hannah,

the favored one, the lucky one, the blessed one,

Out of all, in the Ephraim town.

That Hannah was me.

Strong-willed born on twenty.

So, to the worried baby me,

I want you to know that you’re happy.

I was born 19 years ago today.

Born healthy and pretty during the day.

So even if life does not go my way,

I will still be happy to even live just for another day.

As in, more than just being a girl who’s religious, obedient, good listener, and kind.

I’ve always wanted to go out, unleash my wings, play music,

dance the night away, and not just be a mediocre of everything mentioned.

They would always say, “do things one by one.”

But sometimes, it is hard to pursue things even if you go step by step.

It is frustrating, stressing, and most of all, it is saddening.

Who would want to stay in the same place forever?

When all you really want is to become the things that you keep on working hard for.

But something has recently crossed my mind.

Maybe, the reason for all these is the fact that,

I really want to please others.

What an irony it is.

To do to things not because you feel like doing so, but because you want the attention that you always crave for.
