         <description><![CDATA[<div>PEMDAS can become confusing to student because of the pneumonic- students may think multiplication comes before division and addition comes before subtraction<br><br>Context is important when teaching scientific notation because students understand better when they can apply it to real life situations. Just like putting simple operations into word problems, students have a deeper understanding of the concept it is put into context<br><br>Rational vs Irrational- we would use an anchor chart to explain this concept to students so they are able to refer back to the resource in the classroom</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>
