He defends Walter after Gordon tries to point at Walter as playing a part in the death. He is considered the best in the business. He is fat and unattractive. He is intuitive but is blinded by his friendship with Walter. He is fat and ugly.<br><br>Lola is young and pretty. She is the daughter of Mr Nirdlinger.          <description><![CDATA[<div>He met with Mrs. Nirldinger talking about insurance to her husband but she don't want her husband to know about because she thinks it is an akward conversation to have. When they are about to wrap up the meeting she stands about 6 inches away from his face and him feeling the tension kisses her and she kisses him back after, and confesses that she has liked him from the very beginning where they met. She later appeares at his appartment without him knowiing she was going to be there, yet he did know that it was her when she knocked on the door. Later on Walter is becoming suspicius that she may be plotting a murder on her husband, and He decides to investigate further, and begins to develop feelings for Phyllis, despite his suspicions. The chapter ends with Walter agreeing to help Phyllis with her plan, setting the stage for the rest of the novel.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

Lola's getting more into the case, and she tells Walter the things she know about Phyllis. Huff's plan is to drive off a cliff while Phyllis is inside the car after he jumps out. He tries to frame Sachetti by using his car. He gets an alibi by going to the theatre. He then slips out of the theatre to go meet Phyllis in a park. But when he arrives at the park is he ambushed by an unknown person and gets shot through the chest.</div>]]></description>

He walks over to his bed and tells him that the theater program in his pocket saved his life. And he was an eight of an inch to die. Walter asks him whether they got the bullet and whether they got the woman. To both questions, Keyes answers yes.<br><br></div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The story starts with Mr Neff limbing into Keyes' office. And then he starts making his statement. His statement starts exactly as the book starts. The ending is very different.<br><br>Phyllis wasn't as seductive as in the book. And the movie didn't focus much on Lola as in the book. Keyes plays a bigger role in the movie than in the book.<br><br>We prefer the Movie ending, it seems more realistic and more open.<br><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>
