Their network itself was secure, but the IOT device on their network wasn't secure, which a hacker was able to exploit. This shows that IOT devices themselves can be vulnerabilities to an otherwise secure network.</div>]]></description>

Then default usernames and passwords are used to login to these IoT devices infecting them with Mirari also. The end result was the largest DDoS attack ever.</div>]]></description>
