         <description><![CDATA[<div>Here is some of content that will be on my midterm for this class:<br><br>- Determining the prevalence of a disease<br><br>- Exposure ( what is influencing the chances of a condition) and Outcome ( condition or illness)<br><br>- How to calculate cumulative incidence ( focuses on how many people are at risk of getting a disease in a population)<br><br>- Null and Alternative hypothesis ( null= there is no association between the exposure and outcome, alternative= there is an association between exposure and outcome)<br><br>ex: Alex wants to find out if having a pet decreases depression in students at her school<br><br>null hypothesis: there is no association between having a pet and depression&nbsp;<br><br>alternative hypothesis: having a pet can decrease a person's chances of getting depression </div>]]></description>
