         <description><![CDATA[<div>It is probably through Self Disclosure. When you spend so much time with students, it is difficult to  not reveal aspects of yourself. Also, it has been established that making strong connections with students significantly improves their performance. It is a grey area that is difficult to navigate. Just how are we to establish those relationships without breaking those boundaries?</div>]]></description>

However, we need to remember we are teachers and adults and we have responsibility to and for students. We are never 'mates' or 'buddies' and 'don't 'hang out'.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Teaching still requires personal communication between teacher and student. Face to face dialogue, with these boundaries in mind, runs the risk of disclosing information that can be interpreted incorrectly or even accessed with media tools such as Facebook. I feel iPads and phones in the classroom, whilst <br>a great learning tool can also be used to cross acceptable lines.</div>]]></description>

Often this conversations of a personal and sensitive nature. Constant and explicit record keeping is most important aspect of making sure conversations and issues are able to be recalled if required . </title>
