Classics are the basis of writing techniques and stories that mainly base off one life lesson that carries along with a plot. Most classics I knew growing up were Christmas classics because Christmas material is always Brough back year after year. Classics are often written by famous authors that are historically marked and talked about.

A classic is a old novel that has stood the test of time due to its important message and excellent writing. Classics can range vastly in the number of pages that the book has. Some famous classics for examples are "The Great Gatsby" and "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" These books are important to read because it tells you more about the past and how society was seen back then. Like in the Great Gastby you can see the struggles of the rich and how everyone feels doublecrossed which is something others may not know.

A classic is a book/story that is usually older, and many people have read, that has some deep message different from what we get from a more modern way of thinking. People read classics to get a different perspective and understand a different way of thinking than what is just obtained from more modern ways of thinking. Some examples of classics could be little house on the prairie, tory, and the Odyssey.

I think this because it is nice to look at life back in the day with a modern perspective and modern ideas. I really liked Little Women because it shows womens' place in society back in the day.

A classic is a novel that has endured throughout time and still widely read.
I have read a few classics (as far as my memory has it): A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, Great Expectations by Charles Dickens, Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë, Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë, Gulliver's Travels by Johnathan Swift, Animal Farm by George Orwell, Ivanhoe by Sir Walter Scott, Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. I have also read a few "classical" short stories (for example, A Sound of Thunder by Ray Bradbury) and a lot of poetry.
I like classics because they give an opportunity to connect with the past and the lives of people in the past, and see how both the books affects us in the modern time and the legacy they leave in their trail.
