All because of the food insecurity that hits indigenous people every single year. 

Food insecurity is caused by the Insufficient access to nutritious food. This issue disables indigenous people from meeting their dietary needs.Food insecurity is also linked to the declining access to good food for indeginous people. According to the globalnews.ca , half of all indegenous families have difficulty putting enough food on their table. Many First Nations  families don’t have enough income to buy good  traditional food. Which forces them to buy fast food. As a result, obesity and diabetes rates are rising. Again, according to global news.ca, 82% of Indeginous adults are overweight . 

I think the food price should be reduced depending on the income of the family. Also, we should try educating them on what’s good and what is not good to put in their body. I think that would reduce the amount of people suffering from obesity. The last solution would be for the government to give more money each year for the food production in the North.
