I learned about how serious the judges are by not giving people a chance such as jacob he killed his parents but it was worth it because he felt trap and if he doesn't do anything he will be better off dead. The justice system is unfair because the judges just put the person in jail without an explanation of why did he do it.The judges just want to put bad people in jail right away to learn their lesson but their is always an explanation for everything.

I learned that they can do what they want and they can sentence you to however long they want you to be in there. It is bias. It is not fair because they can sentence you to however long they want you to be in there. Everybody do and sometimes do not have protection under the law. An example is that a teen was sentenced to life because he watched a beaten happen and he didn't do anything about it. I would like to change how some people are treated and how long they get sentenced. They shouldn't get sentenced based on what the judge think he should get.

One way it can be fair is when Andy Medina was trying to carjack a guy named Christopher, and then shot him to death, so he was sentenced to life which was fair because he committed a felony murder

the justice system is corrupt and it fails at everything it does.
i would change most everything about it... the fact that some kids get life without probation is BS. Like the kid who kill his mom and stepdad for sexual, verbal, and physical harassment got life with no probation. If my parents did that to me on a almost everyday i would do the same thing. That kid should have gotten at most 25 years and the strong chance of probation after at least 5 years. depending on the crime you commit they should punish you depending on it. if you rape someone you should get 5-10 years and probation, if you rape a child you should get 7-10 years and maybe more, robbery or breaking and entering you should get 1-5 years, but murder is a different story... without probable cause i say 15-20 years only with a chance of probation in the last 3 years of jail time. No child should go into an adult's prison until 18 years of age i have seen times were a 14 year old boy who was put in an adult's prison because he killed a 5 year old girl after trying to do sexual acts with the young girl, the 14 year old boy got raped and killed in the adult prison because they saw him as a fresh thing of meat.
--------------------------------------------------------
that are just a small amount of reasons why the justice system is awful and biased and why it should be changed majorly
