contemporary art of First Nations peoples of South
East Australia. The exhibition was co-curated by Max Delany and Paula Bell and positioned historical works with contemporary practices to
"explore culturally and linguistically diverse narratives
of self-determination, identity, sovereignty and
resistance" (ACCA, 2016). This education kit is a valuable resource for thematically contextualising different Aboriginal Australians artworks and artists practices. The gallery also created a PDF of curriculum links with suggested learning activities.

His contemporary interpretation of traditional Aboriginal symbols provides an interesting area for discussion. In the linked video Rennie explains that he gained permission to use certain symbols. This is important to discuss and explore with students as it provides understanding of ownership and cultural customs.
