Virginia Woolf who is a British novelist said, “One cannot think well, if one has not dined well”. As you can see from this famous phrase, eating is the most important in our life. Taking an example, if you continue to eat an unbalanced diet like junk foods, you can not do anything efficiently. If you just eat to live, it is as good as dead. Continuing to eat healthy diet makes our life richer.

For example, people think that a wolf is a blood thirsty animal but they are wrong because a wolf have a high sense of loyalty. People tend to be afraid because of not having enough knowledge of the person. Based on my personal experience, I was judge by my classmate during my time studying at brickfield asia college because of my look. Many of my classmates were afraid of me and it took a whole month for them to open up. They began to open up to me because they know more about me and so their opinion change. If I would give a quote it would be “Don’t trust what you see, even salt looks like sugar”

However, is it bad to adapt oneself into a new culture or set-up that is view as crude? Someone quoted, "Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, she became a butterfly,". This could bring a whole lot of meanings to each own perspective.

Essay: cause / reason

Topic on Crime

One of the most prevalent issues in the contemporary society is a plague that has no cure to it - crime! Crime destroys not only the victims’ life, but also the criminals. While the victim may grieve the loss partaken, the criminal has to be in constant worry and anxiety of being caught by the authorities hence he can't have peace of mind and live. What causes crime could be complex, such as; Poverty, drug abuse and lack of education can be associated to why people commit crimes and therefore break the law.

To begin with, poverty plays a major role in the economic circumstances of individuals to social groups, in which they cannot fulfill a certain range of basic needs and inferior goods that are needed in order to live and survive. According to experts, low wages and high unemployment rates could pressure young individuals to commit crimes in order to gain money quickly. In addition, Poverty could cause harmful psychological influence on people, who may become depressed, desperate and then they decide to commit a crime, as they have not found anything that could legally get them out of such situation. For instance, if a person lives in poverty and does not see any constructive way to solve their financial problems that they might be facing, they could choose the easiest way of getting money, even if it means harming other people who are not involved. Thus, poverty is the major cause of crime that led many to break the law , if people had enough money to sustain themselves and families, they wouldn't have to steel from other people in the first place .

Moreover, the public perception of drug consumption is associated with violent crimes. Since drugs can alter a person’s thinking and behavior, this may cause them to make unwise or otherwise dangerous decisions that may lead them to commit a crime. Drugs abuse and crime can be related through the following: offenses defined by drug possession or sales, offenses directly related to drug abuse, such as stealing to get money for drugs, and offenses related to a lifestyle that predisposes the drug abuser to engage in illegal activity, such as association with other offenders. According to Bureau of justice , more than 750,000 crimes connected to alcohol or drug intoxication were committed in the United States alone in 2007. Hence, drug consumers cannot functions as normal members of society. They neglect and abuse their families or other individuals of society and eventually commit a crime.

Lastly, lack of education also causes crimes to increase. Education gives us knowledge of the world around us and changes it into something better. It develops in us a perspective of looking at life. It helps us build opinions and have points of view on things in life. Kids who do not have a good education in school are more likely to have difficulty with finding jobs, getting into college, or staying out of trouble with the law. Many times they have family issues that are attributed to the loss of a parent at a young age due to a death or an incarceration. Kids from single-parent homes run that risk of growing up as an "at-risk" child. This is due to the fact that the parent must work to provide food and shelter for the child, and the absence of the other parent fails to provide leadership and guidance for a growing mind. The parent will definitely not be around to guide the child to getting good grades in school. Kids who grow up in families that do not stress the importance of getting an education are more likely to be living out on the streets, doing drugs, joining gangs, or ending up in prison. Thus, Lack of education on their part means lack of money to support a family. Lack of money translates into robbing a bank. Therefore, lack of education could lead to crime this is why education so important to give us knowledge about life and help us get a job to support ourselves and family. Education also increase our IQ level and make us think more logically and wisely compared to uneducated people.

INTRODUCTION.

Topic: Negative Effect of Technology.

Technology is everywhere. It is a tool that certainly changes the world and how it operates. Many people today are familiar with the technology and it use, it might become extremely important in aspects of our life also evolved in over the past decades and even now made our life simpler, easier, convenient and more comfortable. This notion of the technological development and obvious human capability could cause a massive impact on how the world operates. Unfortunately, technologies possibly play both positive and negative rules, depending on how we can invest it. Furthermore, if technology invested and used in useful and positive ways then it might give us a good influence whereas, if it used in negative ways it will probably cause us a negative influence. In my opinion, it seems that technologies have had a great effect on today’s lifestyle. On the other hand, there are many people omit to believe about some negative effects that related to the use of technologies. Steven spielberg’s quoted, ” Technology can be our best friend, and technology can also be the biggest party pooper of our lives. It interrupts our own story, interrupts our ability to have a thought or a daydream, to imagine something wonderful because we are too busy bridging the walk from the cafeteria back to the office on the cell phone”.

GLOBAL WARMING

Would you mad if someone destroy your house? Your belonging? Or something you treasure the most?. If i was you i will be mad. Who wouldnt? Your puppy been kidnapped. I bet you cry all day long. Begging for your puppy to came home. What would you do if the same thing happen to your earth? Our earth. People remind us to not burn our trash and yet what society do? You know what the consequence that we will get and you still do it. Burning your trash in open area, throwing your rubbish in the river, oil from the factory running through the sea. And now you complaining and get super insane if someone destroy your house. Your ONLY home. Well i tell you first. EARTH IS YOUR HOME.

One of the most obvious effects of global warming is extreme weather. The weather patterns are rapidly changing in all parts of the world. The increased rainfall in certain regions affects the balance that animals and plants need to survive. Climate changes cause health problems, animal migration, and the lack of food resources. Extreme heat and droughts in diverse regions of our planet have become disastrous to human health. The frequency of the heavy precipitation has lead to the greater prevalence of floods. Global warming creates more natural disasters. Extreme weather events will continue to occur with greater intensity. So, we will experience significant changes in seasonal temperatures variations, wind patterns, and annual precipitation.

THE PSYCHEDELIC WORLD

I experienced oneness with the universe and discovered god during a psychedelic experience. The word hallucination is used to describe the state of consciousness typically experienced while under drugs such as LSD, mushroom, mescaline and cannabis. They consist of various stages of ego-release and an often startling alteration of perceptions. This word is also applied to the writings, art, movies and music that are inspired by or that enhance the psychedelic experience. The state of mind during a psychedelic experience is merely impossible to put into words. We can try to describe its qualities like frightening, twisted or sacred, but what we actually go through is a whole different world.
