As I read that, I felt like it was a foreshadow leading up to something. As I kept reading, I found out that I was right. Ghost got into a fight with Brandon at school and got a day suspension. I also knew either his mother would give him another chance or someone was going to bail him out. I knew that he wouldn't be kicked off the team. He was jealous of the attention he was getting. He wanted to put him down and feel better about himself. I found this harsh because he knows the guy is poor but still goes at him about his clothes. I was shocked to read that Ghost didn't do anything about but wanted to. Kids give ghost hate because of how poor he is. They live at Glass Manor. It's where the dad sold his gold medal for drugs that killed him. It's where coach grew up. This place has afflicted bullying on Ghost, and parent issues. He takes him home every day. He doesn't have to do that, nonetheless, to a bad area. He grew up where Ghost was born, he knows the crime there, yet he still brings him home after practice every time. Also, he helps Ghost when he gets in trouble, he made ghost actually want to do track. He made Ghost learn that his actions have consequences.
