I think that cross-culture can provide more wider perspectives and ideas. It can be difficult to lead given the differences in cultures.
I think there should be a system in which every employee can speak freely and without interrupting no matter which way some people see interruption as normal. I think we should give space to everyone to speak their minds openly without interruption.

I really like to work with people from different cultures, because you can always learn so many things - about others but also about yourself!
I think the German culture /communication is usually perceived as really direct, straight to the point but maybe also not polite all the time or missing the time to connect and talk about private things, especially at work.
I think managers should be especially aware of cultural differences and leading by example how to communicate with respect, kindness, patience and humor. I think that behavior can help in every meeting in order to let others contribute and take enough time by asking questions and recap what has just been said.
In my opinion, the potential is to learn a lot from each other, but also to use all the strength of everybody in order to become even more powerful, intelligent and open towards every human being.

I think always the teams integrated with people from different cultures are amazing, but at the same time challenging. In any case as Erin Meyer set "we need to prepare the people to it" and it includes employees and leaders.
I have had the opportunity to work with people from Latam countries and Brazil, and now with Americans, is has been very different for me but at the same time, I have been learning a lot. and at the end despite the communication being in low context or high context, it needs to clarify and make sure about the conversations and objectives.

1) I am brazilian and I have worked already with american, germany, mexican, argentinian and british people. For me, the american way was the most changelable case, mainly because of low context I was used to interpretated as relationship more far than I am used in Brazil.

2) For me the estheoritype of brazilian is of people very friendly but on the other hand not very disciplined and focused on the rules.

3) Firstly I think that the manager should know about the different contexts of the team and try to be adaptable and customized.

4) Leaving the people free to sharing and demonstrating how valuable are the different point of views.

5) For a company is more valuable.

My experience working with people from other cultures has been a very enrichment situation. To highlight the difference among cultures nurturing our intellect and nuanced our position.
We are perceived as superb for sud Americans people and chaotic for others.
we need to be prepared knowing other aspects of theirs culture to oil the teamwork accordingly. Mono culturalismo isolated the leader being unable to get what going on in their team.

I've been working with people from other countries, and this situation could be challenging, but for me has been a great experience, I would say I've learned a lot and we should be always open to accepting others no matter what nationality have. Nowadays leaders must be prepared to deal with all types of situations, and one of these is managing people from different countries and understanding what is the best way to develop this kind of team.

In a global team the workers not only provide different assets based on their diverse backgrounds but also different perspectives that have been surely affected by their culture. In my work as an example, we like to implement pilots which are innovations brought by foreigners/expats that are already experienced in other countries that need to be tested to see if they would convey to the same results. So, a global team would tend to experience more diverse ideas/innovations than a classic one. However, this can be very challenging if leaders are not aware about multiculturalism and bias. complex perceptions or stereotypes; they can prevent the team to be effective. The perceptions could also be within a specific community, e.g citizens against indigenous, high educated profiles against the opposite. From my personal experiences, professional who did a master abroad tend to think their opinions are more accurate. As leaders, they/we not only should learn about those bias and try different strategies to be more inclusive, but also to install an environment where all people would feel free to express freely about how they feel. We can address those sensitive questions during parties, birthday celebrations or a retreat where everyone would feel at ease. The transparency is also a great way to engage the teams. It implies to sharing information to participants but also involve them in decision making so they can feel more engaged. In Haiti, it always better to communicate using a combination of channels like email, text messages, calls or one-one meeting. If we only use emails we risk to not have any response :) :) Lots of expats like to communicate via email and thats a big challenge specifically during remote works.
