First grade continues to find new and interesting reads in the library.  Lately we have been focusing on sequencing in a story.  They have realized that to sequence a story, they have to really listen and pay attention while it is being read. We have discussed a few ways of remembering our library responsibilities.
Choosing one or two new books each week is exciting, but returning last week’s books is the prerequisite.  Your students are becoming quite adept at finding books and they are very conscientious about using their book buddies.
