“The very essence of leadership is that you have to have a vision, and it's got to be a vision you articulate clearly and forcefully on every occasion” (Heathfield, 2016). As a successful leader, people should have a clear leadership vision. In my opinion, leadership vision is an essential means focusing attention on what matters most, what people want to accomplish in their life, and what kind of leader they wish to be. A clear leadership vision provides motivation and inspires people to keep on going, and helps to keep people moving forward and move through obstacles. Build a harmonious corporate environment and keep a good relationship between each employee and employer in the company is my personal leadership vision. The relationship between an employer and an employee is very important for a company because they should trust each other. A good relationship can help a company successful in the future.

Before a leader manages a company, he or she should have some leadership goals. I have two leadership goals. First, I want to be a new paradigm leader who is humbler and obliging in the company. In the past, a leader usually is a hero in the company. They prefer controlling anything and making all the decisions by themselves in the company. Nowadays, a new paradigm leader should have some new qualities, for example, humble and obliging. Moran stated that, “managers who exhibit traits of humility–such as seeking feedback and focusing on the needs of others–resulted in better employee engagement and job performance” (2017, para.3). A leader who is humble and obliging can better communicate with their employees, they are good listeners. Sometimes, employees may have better ideas for some business programs. Moreover, the employers in the company should respect each idea that their employees make, and make a decision equitable. A humble and obliging leader is liked by most people because they are friendly and easy-going.

There are some steps to help people become a humble and obliging leader. At first, a leader should respect everyone’s ideas during the business meeting, and be open to accepting others’ opinions. Moran stated that, “Humble leaders seek input from others to ensure they have all the facts and are making decisions that are in the best interest of the team” (2017, para.6). Everyone wants to work for the people who value their opinions rather than ignore or dismiss them. Humble and obliging leaders are comfortable asking for input, and easily make some decisions for different situations. When one of the employees speaking during the meeting, the leader should be listening carefully, and he can share his feeling after the employee stop talking. The benefit for that is showing the respect of employees, and draw the distance close. What is more, a humble and obliging leader is willing to admit mistakes. As human beings, we all make mistakes. When you’re willing to share your own missteps, and how you dealt with and recovered from them, you earn trust from your team.

My second leadership goal is to be a leader who can build a good relationship with each employee. “Human beings are not machines who can start working just at the push of a mere button” (Importance of Employee Relations, 2017). An isolated environment is not good for people to work, and it will spread the negativity around. It is important for people to keep a good relationship with each other and work together as a single unit towards a common goal. If everyone shares their work with others, the work will become easy. “A healthy relationship with your fellow workers would ease the workload on you and in turn increases your productivity” (Importance of Employee Relations, 2017). If a leader has a good relationship with his employees, he will better understand the through and need of each employee.

There are some steps to help a leader close the relationship with their employees. First, a leader should not be superior to others. As a leader, you should do not need to underline your power and treating the people who work for you as though they are somehow inferior. Second, a leader should try your best to support your employees. When an employee faces a personal crisis, the company should do everything possible to support him and lend assistance when needed, it can make your employees feel grateful.

In conclusion, each leader should be careful what they do in the company. The actions that they did may affect the judgment of each employee. Nowadays, leadership goals for a leader is very important. To be a new paradigm leader who is humbler and obliging, and to be a leader who can build a good relationship with each employee in the company are my leadership goals.
