3) yes, it is important as people's lives in the past has definitely made an impact to the future. they know how things work and definitely have  more experience as they do not have the benefit of technology back then. we also need to learn how to appreciate as we have the benefit of leisure and technology to help with our needs while during the old times, they have to depend on their skills and knowledge

Yes i think it is important to find out about other people's lives in the past as it helps you to understand the person better and you can be more cautious while talking to them because you get to know their losses of family members or friends. I think that the elderly people are feeling joyful that is because there are many young children visiting the old folks' home. Without those young blood the old people would feel lonely or even unwanted by society therefore it is important to make sure that school's organize events to visit them and at the same time obtain VIA points for a better resume when they left their secondary school life.
2. I am not interested in finding out about the history of my family members that is because they are not in anyway useful knowledge and N-level's is much more important.

Interesting factor is that ancestor are just dead people who died a long time ago. From my parents I was told that they migrated from Guangzhou to Singapore during the late 1950s, i guess that is all I would need to understand about my ancestors and nothing more . Therefore I would not be interested in finding more about them . I would rather stay at home to play computer games or do something more meaning such as volunteering to clean the elderly homes. 

3. Some people also don't talk with the elderly as they think the elderly are boring or not interesting thus, making the elderly feel lonely in their homes or in the old folks home as less youngsters do not try to engage a chat with the elderly. In the picture, I can tell by the faces of the group of students and elderly that they are having a quality time and enjoying themselves talking with one another.

3) Yes, I think that it is important for us to find out about people's lives in the past as they live in the past while we live in the present, which means that they might experience the things that we may or may not be able to experience. We can also understand more better of them as some of them may suffer in the past such as maybe being poor with their parents. 3. Yes i feel that it is important 
because knowing about the past of how my parents used to live, we can compare now and then situation. The generations now are much more fortunate as they have access to internet to communicate and to keep themselves busy while during the past, they will meet each other somewhere in the kampong and play sticks and stones.

The students are trying their best to make the elderly happy by interacting with them because most elderly thinks that having companions is the most blissful thing.

They are living in the old folks home whereby they do not have many companions and it can get lonely and lead to depression. Having visitors, having someone to spend time with them, talk to them and play with them would be special for them as they have someone to talk to.

2) Yes I am absolutely interested in finding out about my family's background. There are many stories before I was born and do not know about because I don't always ask my family about the past. However, I think it would be interesting if my parents or grandparents could tell me about the past and what they've been through in the olden days when technology as well as the country, is not developed at all.
3) Yes I think it is important for us to find out about the past because now we have many things which we do not have in the past such as advanced technology, a country with well developed facilities and amenities so I would definitely be interested in finding out the past such as how they communicate when they could not afford mobile devices, when they could not afford vehicles to travel around. These things would definitely make  me understand more about the past and start appreciating the present.

2)Yes i am interested to know about my family history as i am not close with my family. i tend to keep things to myself and i always feel left out as whenever my family members goes for holiday i would stay in singapore and do things by myself and by finding out about ,y family history, i believe that it is a way for me to get close with them and recently i found out about my neighbourhood by talking to  the senior citizen in my neighbourhood  and helping out in community services at community clubs and i am suprised as i found out that my neighbourhood used to be an army camp. So i do enjoy talking to my family and senior citizen in my neighbourhood as i tend to learned alot of my family history or even my neighbourhood history. 

3) yes i think that it is important. We may never know about people past so that we can avoid injuries or any emergency accidents. There was a time where i had a friend and i dont really bother about him as i dont bother to know about his past and at that time, we were playing football and out of the blue, he got a cardiac arrest and i panicked and did not know what to do. Thankfully there was a senior citizen who knew what to do and called the ambulance. Since that day, i always ensure to be more of a busybody to know about people past before playing any sports to prevent injuries.
