This is evident through the use of propoganda throughout the novel. Specifically the society slogan Community, Identity, Stablitity. This slogan is used to control the society and ensure they don't have the chance to think for themselves and develop their own beliefs and values. Hence, acting as an enemy of freedom.

In Huxley's essay "Enemies of Freedom", he elaborates on his beliefs that, through use of propaganda, drugs, and increased government control as a result of resource shortages brought on by overpopulation, a future totalitarian dystopia can be created. This can be seen in Huxley's "Brave New World", as the world that Huxley creates is one in which government propaganda and drugs are used to control the masses' feelings, convincing them that they are happy with their lot, while genetic engineering is used to control society in a more direct sense, enforcing a class system.
