the day JFK died it was kinda weird because we were having a great day. Then i came out of my room and my mom was looking out the window in shock. so i went to the window and looked i didn't see anything. then i looked down from the window and there were these weird creature things. my mom looked at me and told me to go start packing. so i went to my room and started packing my stuff my dad was at work so i asked my mom what about dad and she said who cares and so we left. when we got outside the creature things looked straight at us and started coming towards us. so we ran to Eugene house and they were packing also. then we seen on the news that one of the creatures killed JFK. my mom started crying and i was trying to comfort her but was to distracted by Eugene cause he was so good looking.

I got home and my mom was packing and my dad was home as well. it was strange since my dad had never been home early . "papa, mama, What are you guys doing?" My mom had the most scared face i have seen on her face. "we need to go" she told me in Spanish. I felt a pain a terror, i ran to my room and did what my mom told me to do. We ran inside the car and we went to the country side with my tia . My parents were talking to her in Spanish about getting out of the country we didn't know why But they said something about the vice president Donald trump. And i felt a lot of terror because of that man. he was the most rasit man ever i dont know how a man like him would get elected. We left twords the woods, because my uncles lived near the rio grande. I thought we were going swimming but no my parents told me go across to mexico i didn't know why but i was scared. when we crossed only me and my cousin made it across. the rest of my faily was murdered by the american souldiers. the end:)

The tears fell, but they didn't change anything. I felt a terrible pit in my stomach. How could I be so stupid? Eugene would never like me the same way I liked him. My feelings began to change from sadness to anger. I gripped the corners of my mattress. Why would he lie to me? My anger began to grow. I felt hot. Really hot. I looked down. To my surprise, My mattress is on fire! I ran for the door. I grabbed my door handle and it froze instantly. I screamed in terror and stepped back. I tuned around in search of an escape. The window!
