         <description><![CDATA[<p>Memory is a form of resistance. To remember a language or a culture that someone attempted to destroy is resisting them. Memory is tied to the land, like the returning of the Salmon being remembered as a landmark of time.</p>]]></description>

They remember because of their connection to the people around them. Memory is connected to relationally in many ways. This connects to land because physical places can invoke memories because of people’s connection to the place and what happens(ed) there. These pieces explored the complexities of memory not associated with the typical western ideas of memories, facts, and what’s important. </p>]]></description>
